All bulls are fully guaranteed. I only keep bulls that I would sell to my own parents for use in their herd. If he's not good enough for them, he gets cut and goes to the feedlot. All bulls are guaranteed for calving ease on mature cows, calf vigor at birth and calf growth to weaning and in the feedlot. Bulls are guaranteed for disposition for life! If a bull is a maternal sire, he is guaranteed to produce high quality replacement females. My bulls are many generations of known genetics and this allows me to make these guarantees.

Sires of the bulls include:

Sinclair Net Present Value Angus bull with fabulous EPD profile: lowest 3% for birth weight, top 35% for growth, top 20% marbling, top 25% ribeye, top 25% $Beef value. He is also in the top 5% of the entire Angus breed for docility. His dam is known as one of the top cows in the breed for feed efficiency and with hay and corn increasing in price, this is hugely important. Did I mention he is in the top 5% of the breed for moderate (smaller) frame?

Bull Description
Mytty In Focus This is the most used Angus bull in the breed the past two years and there is no doubt why he is so popular. This bull does it all and fits my criteria to a "T". His EPDs are: calving ease - top 1%; birth weight - lowest 4%; weaning weight - top 15%; yearling weight - top 10%; marbling - top 10 %. His docility EPD is also in the top 10%. Watch for more calves out of him next year.

MBCC S39 This is a son of Flying H Exclusive that Tom bought from MBCC a few years back and he is Tom's 'heifer bull'. His calves come easy and hit the ground running. They grow well and have excelletn disposition. Exclusive is known for his triple advantage of calving ese, growth and carcass. S39 seems to take after his sire in all three traits.

Balancer; 1/2 Gelbvieh; 1/2 Angus

Bull Description
Just Right 122P ET There are a handful of Gelbvieh and Balancer AI sires that hit all of my "use him" buttons. Disposition is an absolute and the Gelbvieh breed is blessed to rank at the very top of all beef breeds on this trait. Others on my "must have" list are: low birthweight, excellent growth, moderate frame and excellent carcass. As you look at "Just Right" it is "all of the above".
Sire
Balancer; 1/2 Gelbvieh; 1/2 Angus

Bull Description
CTR Marbling 2401M Another bull that hits all of my "use him" buttons. Excellent disposition, low birthweight, excellent growth, very moderate frame and excellent carcass. If you sort all the Gelbvieh and Balancer bulls on these traits, Marbling will be on that very short list. We have four bulls out of this complete sire for sale.
Sire
Balancer; 1/2 Gelbvieh; 1/2 Angus

Bull Description
MBCC 20R This bull was the herd bull for Margaret and Bob Coon's farm for the past 5 years. His sire is a very 'Balanced Balancer' - CKA 030K that has as stong a Gelbvieh and Angus pedigree as you can find. Again, genetics stacked for low birthweight, outstanding growth and super carcass. Dave Lubben in Iowa used CKA 030K for a number of years and he produced some super sons and daughters for Dave.

Bull Description
Top Gun Top Gun is a herdsire in the Manning Cattle Company herd near Macy, IN. He is a grandson of New Design 1407 and Northern Improvement. He is a calving ease bull with good growth and carcass numbers. They have used the bull for the past four years and he has been a real herd improver.
Sire
Angus

Bull Description
Rito 6I6 When I describe 6I6 I always say "one of the greatest bulls to ever eat grass". This bull changed the Angus breed as much or more than any other bull. When some Angus breeders said "enough" on the incresing frame size and mature weight the breed was heading, this is the bull that made them look smart. His frame score is in the bottom 20% of the breed while he is above average in growth. He is a true calving ease bull with fabulous disposition. Carcass is great and duaghters are fabulous cows.

Bull Description
Carolina Rock'n This Balancer bull is another one that hits all the bases. His sire is the super carcass bull Rockn D Ambush and his dam is a growthy Echo x Sherman Tank daughter who is a half sister to the dam of Corolina Fortune. Rock'n sires very low birthweight calves that have enough growth, very moderate in frame, thick muscled and super carcass. Milk EPD is moderate so he will produce low maintenance females. Very solid AI sire from ABS.
Sire
Balancer; 1/2 Gelbvieh; 1/2 Angus

Bull Description
SAF Connection This AI sire is 12 years old and is still one of the best in the Angus breed. He ranks in the top 15 of all Angus bulls for disposition and his son is number 2. He is low birthweight, moderate frame, great growth and super carcass. His feed efficiency EPD is among the top in the breed. I may not use a 'hot young bull' in my program, but when a bull stands the test of time, I start to get interested. This bull is simply an elite Angus bull.

Bull Description
MCF Bruce Almighty 35P ET This is the feed efficiency leader in the Gelbvieh and Balancer breed. His sons have topped the Midland bull test in Montana for about the last 100 years - well maybe 5 - but still an eternity in beef genetics. When I say "topped" I maen the top indexing bull over all breeds (800 bulls total) and the top RFI (residual feed intake - measures feed efficiency) Gelbvieh bull. His sons have topped the RFI division every year since this started 5 years ago. Feed is expensive and RFI is VERY important.
Sire
Balancer; 3/4 Gelbvieh; 1/4 Angus

Bull Description
OCC Legend If you want moderate frame and thick muscling, Legend will get it done. He is in the top 1% of the Angus breed for moderate frame and in the top 1% of the breed for $Energy. This means his daughters will be very easy keeping cows that go easy on your feed bill. He is calving ease and has a super ribeye EPD.
Sire

Bull Description

Both sides of the pedigree add moderate frame, great disposition and superior carcass so you end up with a SimAngus bull that hits all my targets. His calves are thick muscled and daughters will make 'front pasture' cows.
Sire
SimAngus; 1/2 Simmental; 1/2 Angus

Bull Description
Carlos This son of the Simmental bull "Lucky Strike" is a senior herdsire at Brooks Farms, Inc. Tom purchased this bull from the IBEP bull test where he was one of the top SimAngus bulls of his test. He gets used on Balancer sired cows and the calves have been simply outstanding. This 8 year old bull is as calm as they come. He is thick and very moderate framed. Numerous daughtes grace the Brooks pastures and sons have sold well each year.
Sire
