“Miss Meadow Springs” is owned by Jack McCoy of Lafayette. I sold Jack a super nice Balancer® heifer out of Rito 6I6 (Angus) and elite cow 5M a few years ago. That is the dam of this heifer. She is out of the homozygous black, homozygous polled Balancer® bull “MSH Designer Genes” who not only sports a very balanced set of EPD’s, but also scored 6/6 stars for tenderness on his DNA test. She’s a 3/8 Gelbvieh, 5/8 Angus double black, double polled Balancer® heifer with style. If you want a first calf heifer that will turn some heads, this is the one. She is gorgeous and her numbers are just as exciting; top 20% low BW, top 30% WW, top 10% YW, top 5% FM. It took 4 generations of AI to get a heifer this good and you can 'begin with the end in mind'. This picture taken as a calf does not due her justice. She is now a tremendous two year-old with a black, polled bull calf at side sired by JRI Profit agent. The bull calf will be a herdbull for someone next year.
